Four New SFX Artists!

We’d like to welcome 4 new artists who made the switch to SilverFox – BJ Graves, drummer for A Storm Of Light, who will be touring Europe later this year alongside Ghost Brigade and Intronaut. You can check out A Storm Of Light’s new record, As The Valley Of Death Becomes Us on this AOL Music Blog. Also joining the SFX gang is Adam Argullin, a teacher & clinician who hails from Kentucky, Eric Lagrimas from the Hawaiian ska/punk/reggae outfit Pimpbot, and Ernie Slenkovich from Us, From Outside.

Here is a clip from SilverFox endorser Daru Jones who is playing with violinist Daisy Jopling. Even the stuffy “classical” dudes at our Grover Pro Percussion division were movin to this one!

SilverFox is not only for headbangers!

As most of you already know, SilverFox is known for making sticks that hold up to the “Unearthly” beatings that metal, hardcore, punk, and rock drummers offer. Now I’d like to take this time to highlight some of our jazz, funk, and R&B drumming monsters. Among these players are Darryl Wells and Terick Verges (Al Green‘s drummer and percussionist), Fermin Goytisolo (KC and the Sunshine Band), Myron Bell (on tour with Aretha Franklin), and Frank Williams (Michael Thomas Quintet).

One of our newest endorsers is Daru Jones, who plays drums and also produces beats and songs for Hip-hoppers like Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Slum Village, Ski Beatz and the Sensei’s, and many, many more! Daru has a feature article in the November issue of MODERN DRUMMER magazine which hits newsstands today! Go pick up a copy, learn the tao of Daru, and lay down some phat beats!
